Anthony Iannamorelli Jr. graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2008 with a bachelor of arts degree in English. He then attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor in 2011. During law school, Iannamorelli interned at the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office in the Narcotics Unit and was a topics editor for the Pittsburgh Journal of Environmental and Public Health Law. After successfully passing the Pennsylvania bar exam, he opened a private law practice and was appointed a Guardian Ad Litem where he represented dependent children. At the same time, Iannamorelli was sworn in as a part-time Assistant District Attorney in Fayette County where he was responsible for appeals and prosecuting a variety of criminal cases, including serious felonies and homicide. In 2015, he was hired as a full-time prosecutor in the Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office where he prosecutes a variety of criminal cases.
