Course Description
This four-hour course examines how officers can prepare to present compelling testimony that leads to successful prosecutions through trial.
After completing this program, officers should be able to perform the following tasks:
- Demonstrate a deeper understanding of the Pennsylvania laws applicable to building prosecutable cases.
- Understand common but nuanced issues surrounding the prosecution of challenging cases using hearsay evidence.
- Know how to best incorporate body-worn camera footage into successful testimony.
- Navigate search and seizure laws, with a special emphasis on their relevance to DUI prosecutions.
