Course Description

The Instructor Development course is an evidence-based program for trainers and curriculum developers. It is designed to enhance students’ knowledge and skills in the development and delivery of training programs. This five-day course examines the science of material retention, writing objectives, training-scenario development, delivery methods, and assessment methods to ensure high levels of training. Each student will apply the course principles in a topic of their choosing for the final project. Whether you are a field training officer in law enforcement or a corporate trainer, this course is a must. There are mandatory reading and writing assignments associated with this course.
